Chaperones

When an examination of an intimate or personal nature is considered necessary you may want to request the presence of a chaperone.

Trained chaperones are available at Wellington Road Family Practice. These will be, whenever possible, another member of the clinical team. However, if this is not possible trained administration staff are also available to act as chaperones.

If you would prefer a member of the clinical team to act as a chaperone please be aware that it may be necessary to come back at another time.

Please ask the Doctor or Nurse if you would like a chaperone.
