Your local pharmacy can provide advice and treatment for a range of common conditions without the need to see a GP.

Pharmacies may also be able to provide contraceptive pill checks, subject to eligibility criteria, as well as advice about medicines and minor illnesses.

Many pharmacies are open into the evening and at the weekends, and you usually do not need an appointment.
