Physician’s Associates – Scope Of Practice

In line with RCGP guidance around the scope of practice for Physician’s Associates (PA), as a practice we have made a number of changes to ensure compliance with the guidance where feasible and that appropriate GP-led supervision is in place.

The RCGP have advised that PAs should not see any children under 16, and therefore as a practice we have taken the tough decision to comply with this from immediate effect with our PA, Sophia. We know our patients think very highly of Sophia and she appreciates your feedback. Please be reassured that the wider team of GPs and health professionals are on hand should your child need medical attention.
